The MakerBot METHOD X - Carbon Fiber Edition is a high-performance, tinker-free 3D printer designed to handle the most complex 3D printing needs. Print carbon fiber reinforced nylon and other engineering-grade composite parts with three-dimensional strength and accuracy like never before on METHOD’s unique industrial desktop platform. MakerBot METHOD X Carbon Fiber is capable of printing with MakerBot PLA, PETG, TOUGH, ABS, PC-ABS, Nylon, Nylon-CF and ASA build materials, as well as PVA and SR-30 support materials. Fully enclosed with an actively heated chamber up to 110°C with Build Volume is 190 × 190 × 196 mm.

• 110°C circulating heated chamber, Method X Carbon Fiber Edition allows users to control the temperature and quality of every layer. While heated build plates are effective at reducing first layer warping, the Method X Carbon Fiber Edition takes this approach one step further with full active heat immersion – providing even temperatures for the entire duration of the print job. 
• The dual performance extruder system utilized by the Method X Carbon Fiber Edition was built from the ground up with the goal of accelerating print times and providing higher dimensional accuracy across every part.
• Built-in smart sensors for material management and print protection automatically detect and alert the user when materials are running low and allow for active jam detection during the entire print duration.
• Method X is capable of printing real, production-grade ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) in its 100°C heated chambers. Utilizing Stratasys SR-30 soluble supports, Method X delivers exceptional dimensional accuracy and precision when printing complex, durable parts. 
• Carbon fiber reinforced nylon is optimized for high strength, stiffness, and heat resistance making it ideal for structural applications and metal replacements.
